Wines to pair with your Spicy Chicken McBites!

The weekend is upon us and many of you are wondering the same thing. It’s date night, and I want something classy and delicious to impress my date. Well, we already have the delicious part, some Spicy Chicken McBites and the classy part, Classic Chicken McBites.

Now what to drink? We talked to a sommelier (that’s wine expert, just saved a google search for 90% of you) at Ann Arbor’s finest restaurant, The Chop House to find out which wines go best with McBites.

For the Classic (original) Chicken McBites:
I would recommend a nice Chardonnay or Pinot noir

For the Spicy Mcbites?
Perhaps a fine German Riesling or French Gewürztraminer with the spicy flavor

Spicy Chicken McBite size breakdown

One of the most common complaints I hear about McBites is that there are too many small nugs that are mostly all breading.

Recently, I counted the size of every McBite in a Regular sized offering.

The categories were

SMALL: Which are small or pretty much all breading.

DECE: Regular sized, decent amount of chicken.

FAT: The choicest nugs, big pieces with a sizeable amount of chicken.

Here’s the findings:

Small: 6 pieces or roughly 30% of the box

Dece: 10 pieces or half the box

Fat: 4 pieces or 20% of the box

Obviously every pack you crack will be different, but there’s an unbiased sample of what to expect!

You can still get Regular Mcbites if you ask

Don’t need the spice in your life? I went to McDonald’s today and they gave me the regular instead of the Spicy. A little retro, but delicious!

SPICY Chicken McBites now at McDonalds!

I awoke from a months long coma this morning. Thanks to everybody’s well wishes and prayers, but I have to credit my recovery with something from a higher power.

Something, perhaps a sense of intuition guided me to McDonald’s for my first post-coma meal. (Would you rather eat gross hospital food or delicious, delicious McDonalds?

Then I saw it. I knew instantly what must have awoken me from my slumber, SPICY Chicken McBites! Review to come!

Hi, I’m filling in for admin while he is recovering in the hospital.

Today, McDonald’s announced new Limited Time offerings, Chicken McBites were not one of them. However, rumors are that the test run this spring went well. Hopefully they will be brought back soon!

Eating Chicken McBites makes you more attractive to the opposite sex

For those of you in a relationship, look over at your partner. Are they eating Chicken McBites? If not, chances are nearly 100% that the general public finds them ugly and are mocking you behind your back. I know I am.

What a hobgoblin. If only she had some McBites she might be attractive.

Taco Bell testing Breakfast!

Since McDonald’s still refuses to provide our readers with Free McBites (hint, hint), here’s another bit of exciting fast food test news, Taco Bell is testing breakfast! Its between 8 or 9am and 11am in a dozen or so Western states. On a side note, how is 11am (or 10:30, McDonalds) the cutoff for Breakfast? Sometimes I don’t wake up until noon. Am I not good enough to enjoy a delicious drive thru breakfast?

Chicken Mcbites as a Cancer cure? Study inconclusive

A study into whether or not Chicken McBites can cure cancer was inconclusive according to a new report released Wednesday.

“These things take time, we simply just can’t tell from such a short trial period whether Chicken McBites in fact do cure cancer,” a participating researcher said.

“It will be years before we know anything conclusive. All we know in the meantime is that they are damn delicious.”
